About Us
What is Campaign LEARN?
Connecticut’s Campaign for Leadership in Education, Achievement, and Reform Now is a grassroots mobilization effort to promote leadership and accountability in ensuring that all Connecticut children—particularly low-income children of color—have access to high-quality educational options.
What is our mission?
To engage the parents and community members of low-income Black and Latino children, who are disproportionately impacted by Connecticut’s persistent achievement gap, in the effort to change education policy and find sustainable solutions to the problem of educational inequality.
What are the goals of Campaign LEARN?
- Raising awareness of the reality of the racial and ethnic achievement in Connecticut
- Identifying best practices for eliminating the achievement gap
- Supporting policy changes at the state and district level that are scalable and sustainable
